About the event
Most data are structured in a more complex way than we realise. Players within teams and teams within clubs, for example. In order to take into account these types of structures, we need to multilevel model our data. This allows more complex questions to be answered about variability between people and variability within people. It is actually normally the latter that is most relevant to the psychological processes we study.
Through attending this session, you will:
Learn about the structure of data and why multilevel modelling is often needed.
Be introduced to the technical elements of multilevel modelling.
